Welcome to the virtual home of Wind & Waves Home Services LLC. My name is Hope Liñan and I am a proud Downeast Maine resident. Thank you for being here and sharing in the excitement and joy of owning a small business!

After graduating from Maine Maritime Academy, I moved to the area in October of 2021, met my husband (check out his tree service company) and got married exactly six months after. Talk about a whirlwind! Throughout college, I had the eventual goal to start my own business; I just never thought it would be so soon. After a couple of less-than-awesome job experiences within a couple months, I decided to take a huge step of faith and start my own business. What started as a sole proprietorship, grew to employing five people at once! Once my daughter was born in May of 2024, my priorities completely shifted, and I decided I no longer wanted to manage employees, my household, my small homestead, and assist my husband with his small business. Change happened mid-2025, and I shifted to offer estate sales and clear-outs.

Growing up, my dad and I would often stop by the side of the road at yard sales. The thrill of finding treasures with him grew as I got older. Thrift stores held my heart. After attending a couple of estate sales and seeing the set-up and how they were run, I decided I wanted to try my hand at hosting them. The first sale I held was SO exciting, and I was hooked. It feels like a dream job to help people’s treasures, find homes that will treasure them in their next season. I appreciate all my clients for their immense trust in me. It’s a great honor to assist in any transition. I often take away lessons and memories from every home. I have found a job where working, doesn’t feel like work!
